Political Science graduate Ryan Hassel was selected for the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program. Ryan will be serving as an assistant language teacher at Akeno Elementary School and Akeno Junior High School in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. JET, the only teaching exchange program managed by the Japanese government, places American young professionals in schools, boards of education and government offices throughout Japan.
