2021 computer engineering graduate Joseph Clark was awarded a 2023 National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. Joseph is pursuing a Ph.D. in computer engineering at University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

“As the GRFP provides both tuition and a monthly stipend for three years, receiving this fellowship allows me to focus entirely on my research and PhD program for the remainder of my time in school,” he said. “As far as opportunities specific to me, I intend to use the prestige associated with the GRFP to engage in collaboration with researchers at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory to advance my quantum computing research.”
