Boren Undergraduate Scholarship
The Boren Scholarship funds language study in world regions critical to U.S. interests for undergraduate students. Regions include Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Preferred languages include Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Russian, Swahili and others. Boren Scholars commit to working for at least a year with the federal government upon graduation.
This award requires university endorsement. Please contact the Office of Nationally Competitive Awards for more information on the application process.
