Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a graduate degree in the United Kingdom. Up to fifty Scholars are selected each year to study at the graduate level at a UK institution in any field of study.

This award requires university endorsement. Please contact the Office of Nationally Competitive Awards for more information on the application process.

Chimene Ntakarutimana headshot
Chimene Ntakarutimana

Chimene Ntakarutimana, a 2020 Psychology and Sociology graduate, was named a 2021 Marshall Scholar.

Chimene will use her Marshall Scholarship to pursue two master's degrees in the United Kingdom. She will attend University College London for her graduate study in the fields of global migration and gender, society, and representation.

Dahlia d'Arge

History major Dahlia d'Arge was named a 2014 Marshall Scholar. She will use her scholarship to pursue a master's degree in war studies at the University of Glasgow and a master's degree in intelligence and international security at King's College London.
