The National Academy of Education's Dissertation Fellowship Program seeks to encourage a new generation of scholars from a wide range of disciplines and professional fields to undertake research relevant to the improvement of education. The $27,500 fellowships support individuals whose dissertations show potential for bringing fresh and constructive perspectives to the history, theory, analysis, or practice of formal or informal education anywhere in the world.

Bruce Haupt

Bruce Haupt, a doctoral candidate in educational leadership, was awarded a National Academy of Education (NAEd) Spencer Foundation Dissertation Fellowship. Haupt is one of 35 recipients of the 2020 fellowship, selected from a pool of 429 applicants. He will receive $27,500 for a period of up to two years to complete his dissertation and attend professional development.
