Patti Grace Smith Fellowship
The Patti Grace Smith Fellowship is a program for Black and African-American students who are looking for their first ever internship in the aerospace industry. The program provides students with work experience in the aerospace industry, personalized mentorship, and a cohort of similarly driven and talented young Black people pursuing aerospace careers.

Lordina Mensah Mechanical engineering and information communication technology freshman Lordina Mensah was selected as UK's first Patti Grace Smith Fellow. Established in 2020, the fellowship is a competitive program that partners prospective Black undergraduate students with aerospace laboratories across the country. Lordina will intern with the software team at Venturi Astrolab in Hawthorne, California. Read more in UKNow. |
