NextGen Service Fellowship
The NextGen Service Fellowship provides funding for students to gain hands-on experience in international development while addressing the needs of communities overseas. The Fellowship aims to inspire and equip the next generation of American public service leaders through immersive, hands-on experience working in and with communities around the world, including Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean.
Eligibility:
- 21 years or older
- Enrolled as a UK student as of May 1, 2026
- Available for an international summer 2026 internship, service-learning or volunteer project for 4 weeks between mid-July and mid-August
Selection criteria:
- Interest and/or commitment to a career in the humanitarian and development sector
- Academic merit
- Leadership and responsibility
- Flexibility and adaptability
