Alumni Selected for Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program

Alumni Noah Berger and Ryan Hassel were recently selected for the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program.

JET, the only teaching exchange program managed by the Japanese government, places American young professionals in schools, boards of education and government offices throughout Japan.

Noah, a 2021 modern and classical languages, literature and cultures/Japan studies graduate, will work as a Coordinator for International Relations for the Okayama Prefectural Government.

Ryan, a 2022 political science graduate, will serve as an assistant language teacher at Akeno Elementary School and Akeno Junior High School in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture.
