Kathryn Greene, a Biology doctoral student, was selected for the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). She plans to use her fellowship for dissertation research on the effects of mountaintop removal mining on stream salamander metapopulation connectivity and movement.
