Agricultural and medical biotechnology major Megan Johnston will participate this summer in the Plant Genome Research Program through the Boyce Thompson Institute at Cornell University.

Funded by the National Science Foundation and U.S. Department of Agriculture, the program enables students to learn how basic plant research can be applied to protect the environment, enhance human health, and improve agriculture.
