Rhodes Scholarship

The Rhodes Scholarship enables students with demonstrated intellectual and academic achievement, integrity of character, and the ability to lead to study at Oxford University in England.

Rotary Peace Fellowship

Rotary Peace Fellows are leaders promoting national and international cooperation, peace, and the successful resolution of conflict throughout their lives. Fellows can earn a master's degree in several fields or a professional development certificate in peace and conflict resolution.

Running Start Congressional Fellowship

Through a semester-long program in Washington, DC, Congressional Fellows learn about politics first-hand from women in Congress and meet the people who helped them get there.

Samuel Huntington Public Service Award

The Samuel Huntington Public Service Award provides $30,000 stipends for graduating college seniors to pursue one year of public service anywhere in the world. The award allows recipients to engage in a meaningful public service activity for one year before proceeding on to graduate school or a career.

Samvid Scholars

The Samvid Scholars Program empowers future leaders and changemakers by providing financial support for graduate study and leadership training. Scholars receive up to $50K for tuition and fees each year for two years of study in a graduate program.

Schomburg-Mellon Humanities Summer Institute

The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation have created the Schomburg-Mellon Humanities Summer Institute to encourage minority students and others with an interest in African-American , African, and African Diasporan Studies to pursue graduate degrees, especially PhDs, in the humanities.

Undergraduates with an excellent academic record are encouraged to apply for the Schwarzman Scholars Program to attend Tsinghua University, one of China's leading universities, to complete a Master's degree in global affairs.

Scripps Research Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship

Scripps Research's ten-week Summer Undergraduate Research Fellows (SURF) internship program offers students the opportunity to experience cutting-edge research in one of 220 laboratories while being mentored by world-renowned faculty.

Shawn Carter Scholars

The Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund (SCSF) was founded on the belief that any motivated individual in need should have the opportunity to further his or her education. Shoals Marine Laboratory Undergraduate Research Group

Shoals Marine Laboratory (SML) is a remote field station located on Appledore Island, Maine, jointly operated by Cornell University and the University of New Hampshire. SML's Summer Undergraduate Research Group (SURG) program enables undergraduate researchers to work directory with faculty mentors and SML scientists to conduct research experiments and projects.
