Four Wildcats Awarded Fulbrights
Four UK students have been offered Fulbright U.S. Student Program scholarships to travel abroad to teach, study or pursue research for the 2023-24 academic year.
The recipients are:
- Communication and political science senior Rayleigh Deaton, who will study journalism at Royal Holloway, University of London in England;
- Elementary education senior Courtney Hausman, who will serve as an English teaching assistant in Taiwan;
- Linguistic theory and typology graduate student Nour Kayali, who will serve as an English teaching assistant in Thailand; and
- Linguistic theory and typology graduate student Nicholas Passarelli, who will serve as an English teaching assistant in Italy.
